As part of our topic People Who Help Us, the community dentist came to visit us in Holy Trinity Nursery School. She talked to us about how we can keep our teeth healthy and that we need to brush our teeth twice a day. We looked at foods and drinks that are good for our teeth and learned that if we want a sweet treat it is best to have it after our meals. We got a sticker and tooth brushing chart to take home and colour in when we brush our teeth at home.
The children created pictures and models of some people that help us in our community and the vehicles they use. The children enjoyed dressing up in the hospital and hair dressers and taking on different roles in these work places.
