Volunteers from Lisburn Castlereagh Council came to school to help the children weed the planters and plant some winter plants. Volunteers talked about the importance of flowers for insects and the parts of the flower. The children found some bulbs in the planters that the children planted last year in nursery. We will watch for these growing in the coming months. Each child got to take their own pair of gardening gloves home. Thank you to the Volunteers!
